This delicious, fruity Tempranillo comes from the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria region of Spain. It is made with low-yielding, old vines growing at an altitude of 560 meters. The area is influenced by the Atlantic, Mediterranean and Continental climates. The wine displays lovely ruby-red color, good structure and balance. Medium bodied and dry, it brings ripe red fruit and blackberries on the palate with a touch of coffee and vanilla. Best served at 16-18 C. Invite some company and enjoy with chicken, chorizo and potato bake. Make sure you have another bottle (or two) ready to go!
