Great value for the money. This 2008 Castillo de Almansa Reserva is a surprise treat. It's Tempranillo, Monastrell and Garnacha grapes and it has been aged for 12 months in oak barrels before bottling. And it has aged so well in the bottle. Black cherry, licorice, vanilla and oak are the flavours I enjoyed. I will definitely be buying this wine again.
