Natalie's Review

Château De Jau Syrah Mourvèdre 2006, A.C., Côtes du Roussillon-Villages, Midi, France: Vintages Wine Panel: If you’re looking for an elegant and affordable wine full of French character, allow us to introduce you to this stunner from Côtes du Roussillon-Villages. This balanced, bright and fruity blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre would be a great choice for a ‘French Bistro’ night. My note: A juicy, berry-ripe red with full-bodied layers of red fruit and a whiff of smoke. Good grip on the palate. Decant for 1-2 hours. Perfect for potlucks and casual get-togethers. 955070 13% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 88/100. July 4, 2009 Best Value Red Wine.  Full Review
