Natalie's Review

St. Hallett Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2008, Barossa, South Australia, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Pale lemon in color, this blend offers a distinctly Aussie take on the classic white Bordeaux version. Aromas of gooseberry, peach and nectarine leap from the glass, along with wafts of lovely pineapple, lime, melon and kiwi fruit. The medium full-bodied palate replays the aromas nicely and a delightful arc of citrus zest emerges on the medium-long finish. My note: lemony goodness with ripe notes of lime and citrus zest. Good weight without being heavy. Nice lanolin richness. 57687 12% D 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 87/100. July 4, 2009  Full Review
