Natalie's Review

Porcupine Ridge Boekenhoutskloof Winery Syrah 2008, W.O., Coastal Region, South Africa: Vintages Wine Panel: South Africa is the new hot spot for red Rhône varieties. Reviews of this recently released wine have yet to surface. This full-bodied, spicy and floral Syrah does the Cape proud and gives its French cousins something to think about it. My note: Exceedingly pleasing notes of black cherries, violets and plums. Full-bodied, round and voluptuous. Wonderfully satisfying. 595280 14% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 89/100.
