Natalie's Review

Alamos Catena Chardonnay 2008, Mendoza, Argentina: A beautiful expressive of green apples, peach, brioche and butterscotch. Great natural acidity with some tropical fruit notes tucked in (melon, pineapple). The first harvest of the grapes for this wine is for acidity, later grapes are picked for ripeness and more complexity. This wine was aged in French oak for 5 months. An amazing wine for the price. 801571 14% XD 750 mL  $13.95 Score: 89/100. June 12, 2009  Full Review
