Natalie's Review

Cheval Des Andes Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon 2001, Mendoza, Argentina: Here's proof that Argentine wines can age beautifully, taking on deep flavors and more complexity. We find tertiary aromas of leather (saddle naturally), violets, spice and cigar box. This one is ready to drink now but will likely last another 8 years. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 60% , Malbec 40%. Magnificent! 14% XD 750 mL  $85.00 Score: 96/100. June 12, 2009  Full Review
