Antonin Rodet Givry Pinot Noir 2007, A.C., Burgundy, France: Vintages Wine Panel: A young Pinot Noir designed for early enjoyment. Look for aromas of Bing cherry, raspberry and a hint of cinnamon spice. Dry and crisp with a pretty spicy fruit core. This is a medium-bodied, long-finishing wine. It will also improve for 2-4 years in a cellar. My note: I’m coming to trust this producer for my personal drinking pleasure. I love Pinot Noir, but don’t like Burgundy prices. This estate produces wonderfully flavorful wines at a terrific price. Redolent of tart cherries and dried herbs. Mouth-watering, medium-bodied and silky-seductive. 110395 13% XD 750 mL $21.95 Score: 90/100. June 6, 2009 Full Review
