Château La Tour De L'évêque Rosé 2008, A.C., Côtes de Provence, France: Vintages Wine Panel: The redesigned bottle is the first thing you might notice about this perennial favorite. Next is the lovely orange-salmon color. Then comes the nose: it displays a subtle array of aromas, including red berry, cherry, smoke and garrigue. On the palate, this medium-bodied rosé makes a great first impression with pretty fruit, nice balance, very good weight and an elegant, medium-long finish. My note: Classic Provencal rose, with pale layers of alluring strawberry goodness. Bone dry.  319392  14%  XD  750 mL  $18.95  Score: 88/100. June 6, 2009  Full Review
