Villa Giada Moscato D'asti Muscat 2007, D.O.C.G., Piedmont, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Villa Giada’s Moscato d’Asti showcases expressive fruit flavors, particularly lemon, lime blossom, Muscat grape, tangerine and peach. The wine’s frizzante character adds a liveliness that keeps its residual sweetness nicely in balance. My note: I know I keep saying this but every time I taste this wine, I think: why? Why? Why don’t I drink this more often? Some questions in the universe cannot be answered. One must simply act. Buy this wine. It’s light, zippy, slightly bubbly, moderately sweet (the good kind from natural fruit ripeness) and has lovely notes of melon, orange blossom and tangerine. 705897 5% M 750 mL $18.95 Score: 90/100.
