Château Verdignan Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 1999, A.C., Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux, France: Vintages Wine Panel: The 99s on the Left Bank have truly benefited from bottle ageing, offering a wider aromatic range, greater complexity, and finer balance. This wine displays layers of cassis and black cherry fruit, supported by fine tannins and refreshing acidity. It’s very approachable now, but it will reward short-term cellaring (2-3 years). My Note: A gloriously well-aged wine that you can enjoy now. Classic lines of black fruit and smoke. Robust, complex, layered and tasty. Drink: 2009-2014. 125286 13% XD 750 mL $29.95 Score: 90/100.
