Hazyblur Baroota Shiraz 2005, South Australia, Australia: Minty cool on the nose with a big blackberry follow-up. Reminds of Eileen Hardy’s Shiraz (which I love). The grapes are grown in the Southern Flinders Ranges, the newest and most northerly region of South Australia. The vines are 30 years old or older which concentrates the fruit flavor. Love the name of this wine: it could be the title of my next book. 52126 15% D 750 mL $35.95 Score: 92/100. May 23, 2009 Full Review
