Nose is a bit closed - some spice box, earth, oak. Blueberry, earth, cherry, cocoa on palate. Elegant, long finish. Tasted Oct/2010.
Hewitson Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2006, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: Juicy and lip-smacking delicious with blackberry, blueberry, brambleberry and many other berries I’m sure. Velvet smooth, rich and warm with a nice satisfying finis. This wine is a blend of 47% Grenache, 47% Shiraz, and 6% Mourvedre. 107870 14% D 750 mL $19.95 Score: 90/100. May 23, 2009 Full Review
