Guenoc Cabernet Sauvignon 2005, Lake County, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: This is a well-crafted Cali Cabernet Sauvignon that really delivers at a value price. Filled with elegant black fruit aromas and flavors, this wine is nicely balanced by ripe tannins. It doesn’t require any further cellaring beyond a year, or maybe two, so drink up. My note: A beautifully balanced Cabernet with classic notes of cassis and blackberry. Chewy tannins so decants for 1-2 hours. Full-bodied with a lovely long finish. 104240 14% D 750 mL $23.95 Score: 90/100. May 23, 2009 Full Review
