Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc 2008, Marlborough, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: Pale straw/green color; aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit and passionfruit with grassy notes; dry, crisp acidity, with juicy citrus, melon and green fruit flavors; long zesty finish. My note: Redolent of gooseberry, white grapefruit, lemon, fresh-cut grass and some lifted citrus notes. A lovely and refreshing package. Terrific, mouth-watering acidity. Medium-bodied. Closed with a screwcap. 554444 12% D 750 mL $15.95 Score: 88/100. May 7, 2009 Full Review
