Oyster Bay Delegat's Sauvignon Blanc 2008, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: This perennial classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc has exuberant aromas of gooseberry, grass, cream of asparagus, and melon. It’s intense and lively with crisp acidity and a lingering, slightly minerally finish. My note: Pure grassy goodness and refreshment! Vibrant notes of lemongrass, gives, limes and green apples. All the vigrorous, exuberant energy of spring. Closed with a screwcap. This wine is part of the Vintages Essentials Collection. 316570 13% D 750 mL $18.95 Score: 88/100. April 21, 2009 Full Review
