Jadot Combe Aux Jacques Beauj-Vill Gamay 2007, Combe aux Jacques’, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Drinking this wine will transport you right into the Parisian bistro scene. Made from Gamay, this popular red entices with its bouquet of fresh strawberry, cranberry and spiced blueberry. Vivacious and fruity, this is an approachable light- to medium-bodied Beaujolais. My note: A simple, rustic, happy red with a lovely medium body and smooth texture. Redolent of a basket of ripe field strawberries under the summer sun. Can you see yourself there?
