Kilikanoon Killermans Run Shiraz 2006, South Australia, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Look no further for your favourite Aussie red! By sourcing grapes from prime South Australian vineyards and ageing the wine for up to two years in small French and American oak barrels, Kilikanoon crafts a fruit-driven Shiraz red that is densely flavored with smoky black fruit, spices and toasted oak. My note: A robust, honkin' big Shiraz with black cherry liqueur and cassis aromas. Undernotes of brambleberry, cedar and smoke. Perfect for weekend get-togethers.
