Natalie's Review

Viña Aljibes Rosé Syrah 2008, Vino de La Tierra de Castilla, Spain: Vintages Wine Panel: This very modern estate produces a wonderfully stylish rosé using 100% Syrah. Featuring bright fruity aromas of strawberry and plum, the wine is soft and pleasant with lots of red berry fruit flavors balanced by lively acidity. Well-made and very food-friendly, it will make a charming aperitif or featured wine at your next tapas party. My note: An incredibly tasty wine for the money! Vibrant notes of sweet cherries and strawberries, even though the wine itself is extra dry. Smooth and imminently gulpable. 122333 13% XD 750 mL  $13.95 Score: 87/100.
