Louis Latour Marsannay Pinot Noir 2006, A.C., Burgundy, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Marsannay, the most northerly of all the Côte de Nuits appellations, produces red, white and rosé wines. This Pinot Noir is filled with light cherry, vanilla and earth aromas. Dry, soft, and fresh, yet still with a nice tinge of tannin to bring it into balance. Try this medium-bodied wine. It will also reward 2-4 years in a cellar. My note: This wine sings from the glass; its aromas rush out to meet you. Vivacious notes of ripe cherries, strawberries and raspberries. Medium-bodied with polished tannins. A long, satisfying finish. 110379 13% D 750 mL $26.95 Score: 92/100. May 2, 2009 Full Review
