Jacquart Extra Brut Champagne, A.C., Champagne, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Jacquart takes advantage of its superb stock of vintage wines to create this elegant Champagne. Cellar-aged for at least five years, this Extra Brut is given a much smaller dosage than a standard Brut. Very dry and refined, it displays lovely floral notes as well as citrus, pear and green apple flavors balanced by crisp acidity and leading to a long, lingering finish. My note: Freshly baked bread and biscuit notes waft from the glass, followed by zingy green apples, lime, white peach and lemon zest. Refreshing and appetizing, this bubbly would be wonderful at any distinguished celebration to toast the occasion.  92817  12%  XD  750 mL  $49.95  Score: 93/100.
