Hewitson Ned & Henry's Shiraz 2007, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Hewitson Ned & Henry’s Shiraz is a consistent critical favorite. The 2007 is a full-flavored, traditional Barossa Valley red, designed for early enjoyment. My note: A warm-hearted wine that needs no coaxing out of the bottle. Floods the senses with accented notes of black plum, cherries, currants, figs and prunes. All nicely bundled in a judicious use of toasty oak and full-bodied texture. 54221 14% D 750 mL $22.95 Score: 91/100. April 11, 2009 Full Review
