Natalie's Review

Celler Piñol Cariñena Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah Tempranillo 2007, D.O., Terra Alta, Spain: This winery owns 100 acres in Terra Alta, near but warmer than the winemaking districts of Montsant and Priorat. It’s a blend of Cariñena, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Tempranillo and is aged for six months in a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak. This organic wine contains just 6 mg/L of free sulfur. 30171 14% D 750 mL  $23.95 Score: 90/100. April 11, 2009  Full Review
