Natalie's Review

Coates Shiraz 2005, McLaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: This organic wine contains 14 mg/L of free sulfur and was matured in French and Russian barrels. A muscular, satisfyingly chunky wine with exuberant notes of blueberry, plum, prune, ground black pepper, tar and a whiff of mint on the top. Full-bodied with an unctuously deep texture. 95273 14.50% D 750 mL  $35.95 Score: 92/100. April 11, 2009  Full Review
