Lailey Vineyard Lailey Vineyard Cabernet Merlot 2006, V.Q.A. St. David's Bench, Niagara, Ontario, Canada: A blend of 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 26% Cabernet Franc. All grapes were fermented in small batches and were punched down by hand during fermentation 2-3 times daily. After fermentation, the wine was run off into small barrels where it was aged for 16 months before being bottled. Black cherry-berry ripe with fine silky tannins and a luscious mouth-feel.
