Graffigna Centenario Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, San Juan, Estate Btld., Argentina: Vintages Wine Panel: This wine is like bottled sunshine. In the sun-drenched desert region of San Juan, run-off streams flow down from the Andes Mountains soothing the otherwise scorching-hot vineyards and irrigating the vines. The abundant sun exposure makes for ripe, mouth-filling Cabernet Sauvignon with plush tannins and intense flavors. Graffigna’s 2006 Centenario explodes with blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate and mocha notes. My note: A rugged, muscular wine with blackberry, currant, mocha aromas and feral undernote. A country kitchen table wine. 93716 13% XD 750 mL $15.95 Score: 89/100. March 28, 2009 Best Value Red Wine. Full Review
