John and I both really like it. Very rich and smooth. Chocolate aroma. spice and coffee taste

Cline Cellars Ancient Vines Carignane 2007, Contra Costa County, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: Carignane (Carignan in France) is one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world. When it is properly pruned and sourced from low-yielding old vines, such as this version, it results in lovely blackberry, cedar and floral-scented wines. The fruit is well-balanced by a seam of acidity and ripe tannins. My note: A bold, chunky wine with mouth-filling blackberries and plums and a thread of smoke.
