Natalie's Review

Cellier Des Dauphins Grenache Syrah 2006, A.C. Cotes du Rhone, France: The name Cellier des Dauphins is derived from its vineyards which once belonged to the son of the King of France, or the Dauphin. The vineyards are north of the Vaucluse, south of the Drome area where the soil is chalky-clay. A blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah. A pleasant blackberry-ripe sipper with notes of cedar, garrigue and smoke. Peppery top notes keep it lively and provide a nice contrast to the plush fruit. 464669 13.50%  250 mL  $13.95 Score: 87/100. March 24, 2009  Full Review
