Roger Lassarat Terroir De Vergisson Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2006, A.C. Burgundy, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Pouilly-Fuissé is the most recognized appellation in the Mâconnais. Producing only Chardonnay, the wines from the village of Vergisson – with their pronounced elegance – are considered exceptional. Look for apple, mineral, light pear and citrus aromas and flavors. Enjoy this medium full-bodied wine with grilled herbed chicken or white fish fried in butter. My note: An exquisite Chardonnay without too much oak and lots of mouth-watering acidity with ripe white peaches and green apples. Voluptuous texture.  110288  13%  XD  750 mL  $26.95  Score: 90/100.
