Saracco Moscato D'asti 2008, D.O.C.G. Piedmont, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Pale straw with a light mousse, bursting with sweet floral, citrus, orange blossom, apricot and candied fruit. Sweet with balancing acidity and a very clean mandarin orange finish. With just 5% alcohol it’s a perfect way to start a family brunch. My note: Every time I drink this wine, I wonder why I don’t drink more of it. I can’t image a better summer deck aperitif or accompaniment to grilled veggies and salads. It’s incredible low in alcohol so you can indulge and not drive the speed boat into the dock. 106385 5% MS 750 mL $19.95 Score: 90/100. March 14, 2009 Favorite Sparkling Wine. Full Review
