Natalie's Review

d'Arenberg The Cadenzia Grenache Shiraz Mouvedre 2006, McLaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: Minty black fruit on the nose. Plush, round and full-bodied on the palate: very satisfying and delicious. Made from mostly Grenache grapes that lend plushness to the wine with some Shiraz and Mouvedre. Matured in French and American barrels for ten months. The word Cadenza refers to an impassioned improvisation by a virtuoso soloist toward the end of a performance. 661587 14% D 750 mL  $26.95 Score: 91/100. March 14, 2009  Full Review
