Stellenrust Shiraz 2005, W.O. Stellenbosch, South Africa: Vintages Wine Panel: A Silver Medal winner at the prestigious Michelangelo International Wine Awards in 2007. There’s plenty of jammy pepper spice on the nose, and the palate is creamy with well-rounded tannins, a generous mouth feel and a lingering finish. This is an elegantly styled Shiraz that features New World fruit delivered with Old World grace and charm. Delicious with roast leg of lamb. My note: Amazing balance and juicy, mouth-watering goodness. Fleshy black cherries and plush black plums.
