Sileni Estates Cellar Selection Pinot Noir 2008, Hawkes Bay, North Island, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: This is a classic lighter-style Pinot that’s perfect when you’d like to serve red wine with fish. Light ruby in color, it displays fresh aromas of strawberry and raspberry with a hint of underbrush and earth. Dry, light-bodied and refreshing with fresh fruit flavors and a long strawberry infused finish. Try it lightly chilled. My note: A rich, soft, plush red with aromas of black cherry, raspberry and red currants. Lovely silky texture and length. 694901 14% D 750 mL $15.00 Score: 88/100. February 28, 2009 Full Review
