Natalie's Review

Knappstein Cabernet Merlot 2005, Clare Valley, South Australia, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: This wine is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Malbec making up the remainder. My note: Floods the senses with black plums, blueberries, hickory smoke and new leather. This wine was aged for 24 months in French oak. Its velvet texture is a lovely counterpoint to its heft.
