Natalie's Review

Castello Banfi Terreforru Cannonau Di Sardegna Grenache 2005, D.O.C.Cannonau Di Sardegna, Sardinia, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Meloni Vini have established a reputation as one of the leading quality producers on the island of Sardinia. Cannonau is the Sardinian word for Grenache. This organic wine contains just 11 mg/L of free sulfur. My note: Black cherries and gamey notes on the nose, with a core of black pepper, spices and vanilla toast o the palate. A savory wine to savor over an evening. 101378 13.50% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 88/100. January 31, 2009  Full Review
