Natalie's Review

Dromana Estate Mornington Estate Pinot Noir 2006, Mornington Peninsula, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Dromana Estate helped cement Mornington Peninsula‚Äôs reputation as a quality wine region by specializing in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Their Mornington Estate version is made in a fresh, vibrant, drink-now style. Look for fragrant cherry and strawberry aromas as well as notes of spice and earth on the nose. This dry, brightly fruity, medium-bodied wine has a silky texture and a long finish. My note: A juicy, mouth-watering red with fleshy ripe cherries, cranberries and pomegranates. Silky, supple and seductive with layers and layers of flavor and a finish that goes on and on. Screwcap. Drink: 2008-2012. 975938 14% D 750 mL  $20.95 Score: 91/100. January 31, 2009  Full Review
