Rosemount Estate Show Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, New South Wales, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Rosemount’s Show Reserve range explores the best variety and regional partnerships in Australia. Each vintage, special parcels are set aside and aged for a minimum of ten months in oak for added complexity. The high-altitude Mudgee region helps bring balance to the wine. This concentrated Cabernet offers juicy blueberry and blackcurrant fruit as well as notes of cedar and spice supported by fine-grained tannins. My note: This robust red coats the palate with luscious flavors of black truffle, blackberry, plum, cedar, and a hint of eucalyptus.
