Natalie's Review

Parri Estate Viognier Chardonnay 2007, Southern Fleurie, South Australia, Estate Grown, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Viognier is an important grape in Australia, particularly for rounding out big bold Shiraz. Showcased here in combination with Chardonnay, the aromatic ripe peach, pear and apricot character typical of this grape really shines through. My note: A beautiful, buttery Chardonnay with a lovely expression of ripe apples, pears and stone fruit. Honey notes in the background add to its viscosity. 17319 13% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 89/100.
