Natalie's Review

Château de Beaucastel Syrah Blend 2005, A.C. Rhone Valley, Chateauneuf-Du-Pape, France: One of the region’s best wines. This massively concentrated, intense wine has notes of game, black cherries, dried herbs, cedar, garrigue, violets, earth and smoke. The Mourvedre grape leads in this blend. Full-bodied with a terrific warm finish. Decants for 2 hours. Moderate tannins in the finish. Drink: 2010-2030. 711317 13% XD 750 mL  $90.95 Score: 94/100. December 6, 2008  Full Review
