Natalie's Review

Louis Sipp Pinot Gris 2005, A.C., France: Vintages Wine Panel: Louis Sipp is based in the village of Ribeauville and his Pinot Gris is sources from vineyards around it. The soils around Ribeauville are extremely varied, ranging from hard limestone to clay, marl, sandstone, silt and sandy alluvial deposits. This vintages features aromas of pear, sweet apples and fruit custard. Dry and intense. My note: Melon and grapefruit notes in this refreshing white. No heavy oak. 731471 13% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 89/100. November 22, 2008  Full Review
