Michael Langton rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Elegant, structured but not too tannic. Just drank in 2012 and it is drinking well but has lots of life left. The gamay gives the wine an interesting feminine side. A very impressive bottle with a more red Loire Valley style.

Stratus Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2005, V.Q.A. Niagara Peninsula, Canada: A blend of the Bordeaux red varietals plus Gamay and Syrah. A stunning red, one of Canada's best. Incredible layers of length. Notes of mocha, coffee, blackberries and smoke. Supple and smooth. Full-bodied. Drink: 2008-2018. 85092 12% XD 750 mL  $44.00 Score: 93/100. November 22, 2008  Full Review
