Anne Boecklin Furstentum Pinot Gris 2005, A.C., France: Vintages Wine Panel: The first written records of Furstentum vineyard date back to 1330 when they were counted part of the Convent of Basle's holdings. The vineyard's steep calcareous and pebbly soil provides great drainage and the slope's southern exposure contributes beneficial sunshine. Furstentum wines show finesse and powerful aromas. My note: Lovely balance and length. Citrus and floral notes. Drink: 2008-2012. 80507 13% M 750 mL $25.95 Score: 90/100. October 11, 2008 Full Review
