Amadio Block 2a Shiraz 2005, Adelaide Hills, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Adelaide Hills is much cooler than most wine growing regions in South Australia which allows them to produce a more elegant style of Shiraz. Aged in French oak for 18 months, the Block 2a Shiraz has an attractive spicy character with good depth of black fruit flavors, fine tannins and medium acidity. It’s intensely flavoured but supple with lots of finesse. My note: Saturated, concentrated red with black fruit. Full-bodied and delicious.
