Tasted 2008 vintage in March 2016. A complex ruby red IGT with a strong presence, developing in the bottle and in the glass. Decant for an hour and explore this wine on its own or with antipasti, braised meats or a steak. Black currants, red berries, graphite minerality in the nose and palate. Well balanced and integrating with time. Easily enjoyable 2016-2026. @jonsteeves rated 91/100 @BespokeTastings #majesticwine
Loredan Gasparini Venegazzu Capo Di Stato 2003, IGT Colli Trevigiani, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 5% Malbec, Capo di Stato has intense, ripe berry/cherry aromas and flavours with a fine layer of tannins for balance. My note: Rounded aromas of chocolate and black cherries. Drink: 2007-2012. 356295 13% XD 750 mL $37.95 Score: 89/100. May 26, 2007 Full Review
