Natalie's Review

Catapereiro Tinto 2005, Vinho Regional Alentejano, Portugal: Vintages Wine Panel: A blend of Castel√£o (Periquita) and Alicante Bouschet, the component wines are given long fermentations in Argelian anforas (a variation on the Greek amphora) resulting in a rich, flavorful, intense final blend filled with aromas of blackberry pie, blueberry, red licorice and earth. My note: The perfect party wine: delicious and cheap. A crowd-pleaser. Full-bodied with notes of black plums. 80358 13.60% D 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 89/100. August 16, 2008  Full Review
