Natalie's Review

Spinelli Tatone Montepulciano D''abruzzo 2004, D.O.C., Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Brothers Carlo and Adriano Spinelli produced their inaugural version of Tatone, their first wood-aged wine, in 1997. Tatone, a word from the local dialect, means grandfather. The name reflects the strength and authority the brothers feel are characteristic of this complex, powerful wine. My note: A simple, but satisfying red with notes of red fruit and leather. 994616 14% D 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 89/100. August 16, 2008  Full Review
