Laquirou Les Quatre Pins Syrah Blend 2005, La Clape, France: Vintages Wine Panel: La Clape is fast becoming one of the Midi's best regions without its own appellation. Still attached to the larger Coteaux du Languedoc AC, red wines from La Clape are stylish, displaying aromas of blackberry, garrigue, plum and cedar. This blend of regional superstars Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Cinsault is dry, fruity, full-bodied, and ready-to-drink tonight.
