Natalie's Review

Peller Estates Cabernet Franc Private Reserve 2006, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada: The cabernet franc grapes were hand-picked from a single vineyard in Oliver. This wine underwent traditional red winemaking with 14 days of skin contact. It was then aged in two-year-old French and older American oak barrels (50% French, 50% American oak) for 14 months with full malolactic fermentation. Won the double gold award at the 2007 All Canadian Wine Championships. Aromas of mocha, plum, sweet cherry and cedar. This medium-bodied wine has soft, silky tannins. 128850 14% MD 750 mL  $19.99 Score: 88/100. July 15, 2008  Full Review
