Dan Akroyd Vidal Icewine Signature Reserve 2005, Niagara, Ontario, Canada: The frozen vidal grapes were harvested early in December 2005 after temperatures fell. After settling of the juice, cool fermentation was completed in mid-February when the wine was placed outdoors to stop fermentation. The wine was then transfered into small French oak barrels where it aged for a period of 12 months. Loaded with layers of apricots and honey, with a rounded oak finish.  58842  12%  S  375 mL  $79.95  Score: 89/100. July 15, 2008 Favorite Dessert Wine.  Full Review
