Natalie's Review

Casa Lapostolle Merlot 2006, Rapel Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: This wine has typical Merlot aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, black pepper, earth and a touch of roasted green bell pepper. The first thing you recognize on the palate is a very smooth texture, carrying ripe, forward fruit and spicy vanilla notes. The flavours are backed up by mild to medium acidity and soft tannins. My note: A delicious, straight-forward red with black berries. 405712 14.50% D 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 87/100. July 7, 2008  Full Review
